Virginia E. "Ginny" (Heintzelman) Slater

SLATER, VIRGINIA E. of Dimondale, age 72, died Saturday, May 27, 1995. She was born on October 22, 1922 in South Bend, IN. She enjoyed her bridge and investment clubs, as well as Town Hall meetings.

Ginny also enjoyed her winters in Gulf Shores, AL and the Mississippi casinos.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Harry G. Slater; children, Sandra (Fred) Hanert, Gary (Vickie) Slater, Scott Slater, Robert (Donna) Slater; and Janine Slater. Ginny especially enjoyed her 8 grandchildren, William, Christopher and Joshua Wilson, Garrett and Jaimie Slater, Jordan, Kirstin and Kevin Slater. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren.

Funeral services Swill be held Wednesday, May 31, 1995, 11 a.m. at the PalmerBush Delta Chapel with Dr. Richard Cole of Bath Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Dimondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
