Betty Lou (Hill) Flanigan

Flanigan, Betty Lou, age 89 of O’Fallon, Missouri died Friday June 7, 2013.  She was born February 6, 1924 the daughter of Ben and Myrtle Hill who preceded her in death.

Betty married her high school sweetheart Eugene (Gene) Flanigan February 26, 1945 in Greenville, South Carolina.

One of the most important aspects of Betty’s life was spending time with her husband of 68 years, Eugene,  her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand when ever possible. She loved to golf and play bridge.

Loving mother and mother-in-law to Jane (Wendell) Smith of Chesterfield, Missouri, James (Beth) Flanigan of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Sandra Flanigan of O’Fallon, Missouri and Thomas Flanigan of Chesterfield, Missouri.  Loving grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 1
