Lucy (Linderman) Gould

SOUTH BEND - Lucy Linderman Gould, 88, passed away Monday at St. Vincent's Hospice, Indianapolis, with loved ones near by. She was born in South Bend to the late Samuel and Goldie (Weisfeld) Linderman. On December 22, 1941, in South Bend, she was married to Rubin Gould, who died March 19, 2003. Lucy is survived by a son, Jeff (Leslie) Gould, and a daughter, Jody (Sheldon) Hirst, both of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Marci Hirst, Traci Hirst, Rachel Gould, all of Los Angles, CA, and Jacob Gould in college in Texas; two sisters, Sally Goloubow and Pinky Raab, both of South Bend.
Mrs. Gould was a member of Sinai Synagogue Sisterhood, Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley and Hadassah. Lucy had a love of family, her sisters, children, grandchildren, and was a great homemaker.
Funeral services were held at 11 am Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Sinai Synagogue, Rabbi Michael Friedland officiated. Burial followed next to her husband at the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN.
