Services for Jack F. Barth, 64, of 60100 S. Carroll, who died at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the emergency room in Memorial Hospital following an apparent heart attack, will be held at 10:30 a.m. thursday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Rev. Arlington D. Rehrig, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
He was employed with Inland Distributing Co., in the cost accounting department. He was born Oct. 13, 1918, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.
On Jan. 30, 1948, in South Bend, he married Eathel Eckart, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Richard A. and Tom S. both of South Bend; two granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Rosemary Carlstedt of Villa Park, Ill.; and a brother, Don Barth of Sarasota, Fla.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army Air Corps.
