Alex J. Csenar

Alex J. Csenar, 67, of 4315 W. Huron St., died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday in the University of Chicago Hospital Medical Center. He was a retired AM General employee. Born Feb. 22, 1918, in South Bend, Mr. Csenar was a lifetime area resident.

On Aug. 30, 1941, in South Bend, he married the former Stella Trzaskowski, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Michelle Folk of South Bend; a son, Alex Jr. of South Bend; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Hildegard Zemlyak and Frances Lewallen, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church, and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in Zahoran Funeral Home. The St. Anthony Society Ladies Auxiliary will lead a rosary at 3 p.m. today, and a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
