Lucille P. (Hively) Roose

Services for Lucille P. Roose, 70, of 1010 Bellevue Ave., who died at 9:45 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. She was a member of Osceola Church of the Brethren and the Riley Lunch Bunch. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, the Diabetes Foundation or to the church. She was born Jan. 30, 1917, in South Bend.

On June 5, 1938, in South Bend, as Lucille Hively, she married David Roose, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Martha Lou Cary of Osceola; two sons, Richard Roy of Scottsdale, Ariz., and David of Peoria, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Jane Brooks of Tucson, Ariz
