SOUTH BEND - Services for Philip F. Mumaw , 77, of Douglasville, Ga., formerly of South Bend, who died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Cobb General Hospital, Austell, Ga., will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Mr. Mumaw retired in 1985 from Gilbert's Men's Clothing Store as a salesman. He was born Sept. 15, 1917, in South Bend and moved to Georgia three years ago.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Mumau, with whom he made his home; two sons, Phillip J. of Elkhart and William A. of St. Charles, Mo.; and two brothers, George of Florida and Edward of Niles.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, past commander of Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 161, Mishawaka, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1167.
