Marianna (Munro) Sipotz

Oct. 7, 1918 – Jan. 1, 2003 Marianna Sipotz, 84, of Walter Street, passed away at 5:29 a.m., Wednesday, January 01, 2003 in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Sipotz worked as a secretary at Jackson Middle School and had been a member of the Eastern Star. She was born on October 7, 1918 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Frank and Jenny Munro. They preceded her in death along with a sister Hazel Viehe.

On April 15, 1939 in South Bend as Marianna Munro she married Albert Sipotz who survives.

Also surviving are two sons Michael (Susan) Sipotz of Granger and James Sipotz of South Bend; 4 grandchildren Stacy, Brian, Meghan and Taylor; and a great grandchild Dhane; a niece Jeanne Ray of Bradenton, FL and 5 great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm Friday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Pet Refuge
