Harold G. Reinke Sr

SOUTH BEND - Harold G. Reinke Sr, 71, died Saturday at 15 a.m. in St. Joseph's Medical Center.

He was the cofounder and chief executive officer of Reinke Construction Company. He born July 6, 1918, South Bend and he lived in the area all of his life.

On Feb. 24, 1948, in South Bend, he married Julia Weinzetl She died Aug 12, 1968

Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Reinke of South Bend; a son, Harold Jr. of South Bend; granddaughter; sister, Ruth Schmelts of Mishawaka; and a brother, Gerald of South Bend.

He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, American Art tration Society, American Turner., YMCA, University Club of Notre Dame and the South Bend Press Club. He was co-founder and past president of Michiana Area Construction Industry Advancement Foundation, past president of Michiana Builders Association and past co chairman of Iron Workers District Council of Southern Ohio. He was trustee for both the Operative Plaster and Cement Masons Benefit fund and the Brick Layers and Allied Craftsman Benefit Fund.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's United Church of Christ. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery
