Audrey Gladys (Richardson) Trensey

May 24, 1918 - Jun 27, 1981

Audrey G. Trensey, 62, of 5009 Selkirk Drive, died at 1:30 a.m. today in her home of an apparent heart attack. She was organist at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church for the last 23 years. She was born on May 24, 1918, in Jacksón, Mich., and lived in South Bend since 1945.

On June 29, 1941, in South Bend she married Harry D. Trensey. He survives with a daughter, Mrs. Diane Basso, Canton, Ohio; two sons, Dale L. and Dennis L. of South Bend; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Nadine Lister of South Bend.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. Rev. C. Marcus Engdahl, pastor of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Three Rivers Cemetery, Three Rivers, Mich. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.  

Mrs.Trensey was a member of the South Bend Home Economics Club and the American Guild of Organists.
