Mary B. Moore, 81, of Murrysville, Pa., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died on Monday, Jan. 3, in her home. She was born on Jan. 26, 1918, in South Bend, daughter of the late George and Ora Sanborn Slocum. She was a graduate of Riley High School, was a member of the Southside Christian Church, was an active volunteer in at the Battell Center Mishawaka, Ind., was an active volunteer in other community activities, and was a square dancer for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Hosteller.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilbur V. Moore; three daughters, Kathryn (George) Stehle of Lansing, Mich., Joann (David) Swihart of Murrysville and Patricia (Thomas) Price of dren Indianapolis, and five Ind.; eight great-grandchildren; grandchildren; a brother, George Rollin Slocum; and by two sisters, Lucille Hanna and Anna Sullivan.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, in the Southside Christian Church on Jackson, just east of Miami, South Bend. The Hart Funeral Home, Murrysville, Pa., is handling arrangements.
