Maxine L. (Wright) Kambol

SOUTH BEND Maxine L. Kambol, 78, of 935 Oakland Ave., died at 7:50 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Kambol retired from South Bend Police Department as a school crossing guard after more than 25 years of service. She was born Aug. 24, 1917, in Mishawaka.

On 1939, in South Bend, as Maxine Wright, she married James Nat Kambol. He survives with a son, Terry of South Bend.

She was a member of River Park United Methodist Church.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. F HollisOrvis-Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
