Robert John Bedi

Robert John Bedi, aged 76, of Grand Rapids, died Sunday, February 24, 2002.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlotte; son, James (Diana) Bedi of Ada; grandchildren, Alison and Andrea Bedi; sisters, Margaret Hoffer and Irene Kovatch both of South Bend, IN; sister-in-law, Rosemarie (Wilson) Steinbrecher of Naperville, IL; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bedi was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Numerical Control Society and other Engineering Associations. He was a retired engineer for Steelcase.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Rev. R. Louis Stasker, presiding. (Please meet at church). Interment Cascade Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan, 1260 Ekhart NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 or St. Robert of Newminster Church.
