Lowell Clark Gray

SOUTH BEND - Lowell Clark Gray, 90, died Monday, April 4, 2016, at Viera Hospital. Lowell was born in Piqua, Ohio, and grew up in South Bend, Indiana. Lowell was a veteran of the Navy during WW II.
He graduated from Purdue University in 1947 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Lowell worked for Bendix in South Bend, Indiana, as an Electrical Engineer, and moved to Brevard with the company in 1968. He retired from Bendix and finished his professional career as a Director at McDonnell Douglas in Titusville. Lowell was very active in church life. He was a member of Indian River United Methodist Church. He led bible study, sang in choirs, active with the North Brevard Christian Men and an integral part of the annual Men’s Prayer Breakfast.
Lowell is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean Gray; daughter, Patricia Gray of St. Petersburg; son, Douglas Gray, and his wife, Heidi; grandchildren, Jason Gray and his wife, Robin, Jamie Gray, and Jennifer Gray-Meadows; and his great-grandchildren Auggie, Brooke and Alexis.
Lowell was preceded by his son, Rev. Paul Allen Gray.
A celebration of Lowell’s life will be at 11 am Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Indian River United Methodist Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com
