William Frank Priester Sr

William Frank Priester Sr., 79, of Portland, Ore, formerly of South Bend, Ind., died on Saturday, Jan.22, in Portland. He was born on Oct.10, 1925 in South Bend, Ind. He lived in Portland, Ore, for the past 13 years, moving from South Bend.He was a graduate of Riley High School in South Bend.

He worked at Studebaker as an industrial engineer for 18 years and he worked for Young, Spring and Wire for 15 years and retired as plant manager. He was also a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.

He married Evelyn Wawrzyniak in 1944 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, William F. Priester Jr.and David W. Priester; a sister, Lillian Sult; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m.Friday, Jan.28, in the Sunset Presbyterian Church, Portland.Private family graveside services will be at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. The Peggy, Paxson & Springer Chapel, Beaverton, Ore., is handling arrangements
