Ellen (Jamieson) Shane

May 9, 1914 - Jan 26, 2006

She was born in Ontario, Canada, to the late Thomas and Kate (Wattews) Jamieson. She married Earnest W. Shane on March 5, 1937. He preceded her in death Feb 22, 2002. For most of her life, she was a housewife but also had been a licensed practical nurse for Marion General Hospital. She was a member of Swayzee Christian Church, where she was part of several ladies organizations, and was a member of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include sons, Tom (Sherry) Shane, Marion, and David (Karen Sue) Shane, LaFontaine; grandchildren, Mark (Dawn) Shane, Warren, and Michelle (Brian) Bacheson and Mellissa (Mike) Abston, both of Marion; and brother, Samuel (Myrtle) Jamieson, South Bend.

She also was preceded in death by brother, Bill Jamieson; and grandson, Kevin Shane.
