SOUTH BEND - Services for Ann K. Gergacz, 77, of South Whitcomb Avenue, who died at 2:59 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Zahoran Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or National Osteoporosis Foundation, 1150 17th St. N.W., Suite 500, Washington, D.C. 20036.

Mrs. Gergacz retired from the South Bend Community School Corp. as a cook.

She was born Jan. 21, 1916, in South Bend and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On May 29, 1937, in South Bend, as Ann K. Nagy, she married John W. Gergacz. He died April 6, 1988.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Hammerschmidt of East Lansing; a son, John W. of Lawrence, Kan.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Freida Uyhelji and Mary Bernath, both of South Bend, and Evelyn Pola Granger; and a brother, Robert Nagy of South Bend.

She was a member of the church.
