Hildegard Matilda (Stegman) Nelson

March 6, 1916 - Feb. 9, 2002

Hildegard Matilda Nelson, 85, of Turlock, Ca., died Saturday at Covenant Village Care Center. Mrs. Nelson was a native of South Bend, Ind.

She lived in Turlock seven years. She was a librarian assistant for 24 years and worked 11 years at Fuller Theological Seminary. She belonged to Turlock Covenant Church.

She is survived by her children, James Nelson of Edwardsville, Ill., and Richard Nelson of Lake Oswego, Ore.; and three grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Services have been held under the direction of Allen Mortuary. Burial at St. Joseph's Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

Remembrances may be made to the Covenant Village Benevolent Fund, 2125 N. Olive Ave., Turlock 95382.
