Ralph R. Timmons

ELKHART - Ralph R. Timmons, 71, of 1336 Cedar St., died at 6:05 p.m. Monday in Elkhart General Hospital after an illness. Mr. Timmons retired in 1980 as a salesman from Maurer Industrial Supply.

He was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Dowagiac. On May 24, 1975, in Columbia City, Ind., he married Margaret Kidd. She survives with a daughter, Toni Brayton of Elkhart; two sons, Jerry of Hoagland, Ind., and Michael of Elkhart; two stepdaughters, Bonnie Strobel of Essex Junction, Vt., and Becky Lovan of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; a great and two stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hartzler-Gutermuth Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Elkhart Community Hospice.
