Samuel F. Warner, 64. of 618 S. Albert, died at 11:33 p.m. Saturday in Osteopathic Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at home. He was retired from the Bendix Corp. in 1978 after 37 years employment.
Born on Nov. 12, 1915, in Portsmouth, Ohio, he had lived here most of his life after coming from Ohio.
On June 10, 1941, in Bryan, Ohio, he married Irene B. Hicks, who survives. Also surviving are three sisters. Mrs. Helen Akers of Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Thelma Pulan of West Palm Beach, Fla.: and Mrs. Ruth Springmann, of Merrillville, Ind.: and a brother. George, Jr., of Mishawaka.
Sevices will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel. Rev. Timothy Murtaugh, pastor of Southside Christian Church, will officiate. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
He was a member of the Bendix Retirees Club and a World War II veteran.
