EUNICE EILEEN (COLLIER) WATSON MINICH, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was born in South Bend, Ind., on Jan. 9, 1930.

She married Robert A. Watson on April 15, 1950; he preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1982. Eunice remarried in 1986 to Donald Minich.

She retired from Fort Wayne Newspapers after 32 years of service in 1988. In 1988, they called Florida home and were members of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Donald preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2006.

Surviving are her sons, Larry (Maggie) Watson and Bob (Luann) Watson, both of Fort Wayne and Mark Watson of New Creek, W.Va..; stepdaughters, Sandra Brockman and Sharon McKnight; grandchildren, Mark (Natalie) Watson Jr., Brian (Emily) Watson, Shane Watson, Tracey Watson (Mark) Atkinson, and Ben Watson; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Grace, all of Fort Wayne and Columbia City, Ind.

No viewing or services are being held. Cremation services provided by Robert's Funeral Home. Burial with Donald at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
