Marjorie M. (Layman) Williams

Marjorie M. Williams, 94, of South Bend, IN passed away on March 13, 2025. She was born November 25, 1930 to the late Miles E. and Dorothy (Rice) Layman.

Marjorie was a clerk at South Bend Public Library. She retired in 1995 after 22 years of service. She attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Music was a big part of her life and she was always singing in the church Choir.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter; Dorothy ‘Dottie’ (Frank) Bely, Brookville, OH, grandson; ID Akinbiyi, four great grandchildren and her brother; Robert Emery (Maryann) Layman, Franklin, IN.

Visitation for Marjorie will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 5:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 930 Park Place, Mishawaka, IN. Her funeral service will begin at 6 pm at the church on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
