Geraldine (Rymarz) Switalski

Geraldine Switalski, 70, of Gordon Road, South Bend, Ind., died at 12:45 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26; in Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Sept. 17, 1930, in South Bend, and was the daughter of Stanley and Stella (Guzowski) Rymarz. Mrs. Switalski retired in 1996 from the First Source Bank.

On Oct. 9, 1965, in South Bend, as Geraldine Rymarz, she married Robert Switalski, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Cheryl (Paul) Bittle of South Bend; a son, Alexander (Kathy) Arch of Fort Worth, Texas; two stepsons, John (Cathy) Switalski of White Pigeon, Mich., and Mike Switalski of South Bend; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild; and three sisters, Lillian Trytko, Phyllis Kolecki and Jeanette Wallace, all of South Bend.

Preceding Mrs. Switalski in death was a brother, Harry Rymarz.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church where she was a member.

Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, 1601 W. Sample Street, South Bend, IN 46619
