Barbara Dell (Boss) Allen

BARBARA DELL ALLEN Our beautiful mother and grandmother was born in South Bend, Indiana. With her best friend, she ventured out to Fresno, Calif., at the age of 21 and spent the rest of her life in California. Shhhh quiet everyone!... Jeopardy's on! She enjoyed playing Scrabble and Yahtzee with her family, as well as Bunco with her friends. She was and will always be the most incredible person who always held her hands and heart out to all. Not only was she our Grama, she was everybody's Grama. Barbara Dell Allen was called home by our Lord on August 23, 2014. She was 94 years young.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Mary Trask, Joann Blood, Barbara Allen, and Donna Kepley; son, Gary and daughter-in-law, Cindy Allen; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Private graveside services and viewing will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. A potluck and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the American Legion Hall in Yermo.
