Herman Joseph Csenar
Herman Joseph Csenar, 54, of 901 E. Milton St., was dead on arrival Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He had been ill for three months. He was a foreman at the Bendix Corp. He was born Feb. 5, 1919 in South Bend, and had lived here all his life.
On Aug. 3, 1940 in South Bend, he married Laura Hodge, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Thomas, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Fellerhoff of Columbus, Ind., Mrs Kathleen Raker of South Bend, Mrs. Darlene Mize of St. Louis, Mo., and Debby and Linda Csenar, both at home; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Alex and Rudolph, and two sisters, Mrs. Hildegarde Zemlyak and Mrs. Frances Lewallen, all of South Bend.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Zahoran® Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, Msgr. Stanley L. Manoski, rector of St. Matthew Cathedral, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Csenar was a World War II Army veteran
