George F. Hinkle

George F. Hinkle, 69, Indianapolis, died Monday, Feb. 20, 1989, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born July 30, 1919 in Tipton, the son cf Thomas and Elma (Graham) Hinkle. An attorney in Indianapolis, he worked as a public defender in Marion County.

Surviving are two daughters, Joan Noble of South Bend, and Jean Werntz of Mishawaka; two sons, Patrick Hinkle and William Hinkle, both of South Bend; one brother, William Hinkle of South Bend, and five grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in South Bend. Burial will be at Tetersburg Cemetery in Tipton County. Friends may call at Forest G. Hay Funeral Home in South Bend today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
