Bette June (Moe) Botos

May 25, 1933- March 23, 2005

Bette June Botos, 71 , of U.S. 31 South, passed away at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2005, in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on May 25, 1933, in South Bend, to Glenn and Marjorie (Wienke) Moe.

On December 2, 1951, in South Bend, she married Bert D. Botos, who survives. Mrs. Botos is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Bert; a daughter, Holly Botos, and a sister, Marilee (Dan) Bolenbaugh, both of South Bend.

Mrs. Botos had been a lifelong area resident. She was a member of VASA order of America, Linne' Lodge 153, a Scandinavian-American fraternal organization.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, in Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2005, in the funeral home, and one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
