Carlos Simmons “Los”, was born on December 5, 1978 in Forrest City, Arkansas. He attended Riley High School in South Bend, Indiana where he played football. His favorite sport was basketball. He participated in the Gus Macker Basketball Tournament, an event he and his friends practiced long hours for.
Carlos was a skillful subcontractor. He will always be remembered as a family-oriented man who loved from deep within and always carried with him his infectious smile. Carlos moved from Indiana to Arizona, a place he loved and called home. He took his last breath in Tucson, Arizona November 23, 2017.
He leaves behind his precious memory and the mourning of his presence to his mother and father, Carla and Cantrell Carter; two daughters: Ariana and Caryale Simmons; his sisters: Shekita Simmons and Kimberly Carter; brothers, Antorio Goodwin, Al Reynolds, and Maurice Cortis; maternal grandmother, Irene Mapson; paternal grandmother, Glenneest Reynolds, seven nieces, five nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Carlos was preceded in death by his father, Alfonzo Reynolds; his niece, De`Shauntae; and a nephew, Rimus Jr.
