Surviving are his daughters, Victoria J. Aycock, Cheryl M. Bricker, Christine D. Nifong, Julie A Booker-Close; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara DeLong.

William S Booker, 77, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away, Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Hospice House in South Bend.

William was born March 9, 1932, in Dugger, Indiana to Cuthbert and Grace (Strycker) Booker.

He retired from the former Bendix Corporation in the Energy Control Division.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy D (Waugh) Booker on April 17, 2003.

Surviving are his daughters, Victoria J Aycock of Depoe Bay, Oregon, Cheryl M Bricker of Toms River, New Jersey, Christine D Nifong of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, Julie A Booker-Close of Seattle, Washington; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara DeLong of Bluffton, Indiana.

William was a Navy Veteran, and a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements by, Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana.
