MISHAWAKA — Stacey A. (Kovacevich) O’Connor, 28, of Mishawaka, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2007, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Stacey was born on September 16, 1978, in South Bend, to Richard and Carol (Hummel) Kovacevich.

On July 8, 2002, she married Mike O’Connor in South Bend. He survives along with her parents, Richard and Carol, and her brother, Dana Richard Kovacevich.

She graduated from Riley High School were she was valedictorian of her senior class. She was in Honors Society and made the Dean’s List every semester at Davenport College.

In 1995 Stacey had undergone a heart transplant.Stacey was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest. She loved animals, and everyone who met her loved her.She will also be missed by her baby dog, Jody Linn.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, from 2:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m.in ST JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 SOUTH MAYFLOWER ROAD, SOUTH BEND where a funeral liturgy will follow..
