Kathy Jo Mitchell, age 60, of South Bend, Indiana passed away Monday morning, April 17, 2017 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Kathy was born on February 12, 1957 in South Bend, IN to Stanley and Patricia (Platz) Mitchell. She retired from the United States Postal Service.
Kathy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Jenny Dyszkiewicz of South Bend and Timothy and Linda Dyszkiewicz of Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren, Jordan, Troy and Adam; her father, Stanley Mitchell of South Bend; and two brothers, Clark Dean (Jenellen) Mitchell of Holland, MI and Timothy S. (Sheri) Mitchell of South Bend.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, where friends may visit with the family from 3:00 pm until time of services.
