Kathryn Marie Good

LAKEVILLE - Kathryn M. Good, 86 years old, passed away at 3:47 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Mary B Home in Lakeville. Kathryn was born on December 30, 1930 in South Bend to the late Raymond L. and Dagny M. (Anderson) Horn. She has remained a lifelong resident. On January 10, 1954 in South Bend, Kathryn and Richard E. Good were united in marriage. Richard preceded her in death on December 25, 2011. One brother, Ronald R. Horn, also preceded her in death.

Kathryn is survived by her four children, Diane M. Good of South Bend, Richard R. Good of Lakeville, Brian D. (Cindy) Good of Lakeville, and Gary W. (Betina) Good of Lakeville; five grandchildren, Holly, Logan, Elisabeth, Hannah and Bobby Good; and her sister-in-law, Mildred Horn of Lees Summit, MO.

Kathryn retired in 1995 after 26 years of employment in the cafeteria at LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School. She was a faithful member of the Lakeville United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Lakeville United Methodist Church, 610 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville. Pastor Brian White will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Palmer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Kathryn M. Good may be donated to the Lakeville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 24, Lakeville, IN 46536; Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707; or to Pet Refuge, 4626 S. Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.
