In Memory
Thomas J. Parker
February 28, 1957 ~ July 20, 2024 (age 67)
Thomas J. Parker, a cherished soul known for his unwavering generosity and adventurous spirit, peacefully passed away on July 20, 2024, in South Bend, Indiana. Born on February 28, 1957, in Mishawaka, Indiana, Thomas's journey of 67 years was marked by an enthusiasm for life that deeply touched all who knew him.
Thomas was the beloved son of Ledger V. Parker and Helen L. Parker, both of whom instilled in him values of kindness and integrity that he carried throughout his life. He was a dedicated father to his daughter Amanda Lorene, and a guiding figure to his stepchildren, Ashley Marie Beelaert and Kyle Lee Collins. His joy multiplied with the arrival of his grandchildren, Mikayla Ann Parker, Mileah Bell Parker, and Milan James Parker, who lit up his world.
Thomas is survived by his wife Sutton Mazar, and a caring circle of family, including his children, grandchildren, and siblings, Janice (John) Kolberg, Charles (Barb) Parker, Randy (Joan) Parker, and Karla Haynes.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Sandra Arnicar, Rodger Parker, Richard Parker, and Micheal Parker.
A man of many passions, Thomas reveled in the simplicity and beauty of outdoor activities. Fishing was not just a hobby for him, but a tranquil pursuit that brought solace and joy. Equally adept with his hands, he found both challenge and satisfaction working on his CNC machine, creating intricate pieces that reflected his meticulous and creative nature. Thomas’s adventurous side propelled him into the rugged world of mud bogging. An avid motorcycle rider, he traversed roads with a free and soaring spirit, finding freedom on two wheels. His compassion extended to all creatures, as Thomas was a huge animal lover. His gentle interaction with animals revealed his kind-heartedness and respect for all living beings. His garden was a sanctuary for him.
Thomas was renowned for his giving nature. Helping others was not merely an act of service, but an integral part of who he was. He lifted spirits, lent a hand, and offered support with no thought of recompense.
May the memory of Thomas J. Parker be a blessing to all who knew him, and may his indomitable spirit continue to inspire us to live our lives with the same courage, love, and joy that he shared so freely with the world. To a beloved father, devoted friend, generous spirit, and true lover of life, we will see you again.
