Gwendolyn "Diane" Lavigne (Sneed)

Gwendolyn Diane Lavigne (Sneed), 69, of South Bend, passed away on the afternoon of Monday, May 4th at Miller’s Merry Manor of Walkerton.

Diane was born on December 5, 1956 in South Bend to Charles A. and Roxie Sneed. She graduated from Riley High School in 1977 and was a life-long area resident. Through the years she worked in RV manufacturing, where she worked in paint and detailing. Diane married David Lavigne in North Liberty, Indiana on September 16, 2000. She enjoyed hitting the yard sales with friends, and showing off her skill playing darts, yet her greatest joy was being in the company of her family.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, David Lavigne of South Bend, along with her children, Roxie (Kyle) Morgan of Walkerton, Brian (Miranda Roseberry) Graham of North Liberty, Jessie Herndon of Utah and Angie Lavigne of Elkhart. She was the proud grandmother of Caleb, Jake, Rene, Myah, Zander, Gracelynn, Bryanna, Dylan, Taylor (Nathan) Wenger and Timothy Bawa, and the great grandmother of two, Elayna and Elliott. Diane is also survived by her siblings, Rochelle Moya of Mishawaka, Gina Schwan, Angie Ford, and Billy Sneed all of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her son Jake Herndon along with her parents.

As per Diane’s wishes cremation is to take place with no services scheduled at this time. Hanley and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and wish to extend deepest sympathy to all of Gwen’s family and friends.
