Mr. Black, I am so sorry to hear of your passing.  You were an EXCELLENT TEACHER and MAN OF FAITH!  I know you are in Heaven with our Heavenly Father and the angels.  I am sure you are having a wonderful time seeing family, old friends and former students.

I graduated from Riley in 1974 and was pleased to have you as a teacher in two of my English classes.  I enjoyed the talks we would engage in regarding religion, Catholicism and the Protestant faith and me being a preachers' kid.  You were humorous, smart, caring, encouraging and loved your students and teaching dearly.  You always cared about our lives and what we were doing at the moment and what future dreams we had.  That always came through daily in your classroom.

I will miss you.  Rest in peace my friend.  Until we meet again.
