Pamela Jean Cummins (Eisemann)

Pamela Jean (Cummins) Eisemann

February 26, 1956 ~ October 24, 2024

Pamela Jean Eisemann, 68, passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2024, surrounded by her closest loved ones. She was born on February 26th, 1956, in South Bend, Indiana to parents Eleanor (Winter) and John Cummins, where she grew up with siblings Lenore (John) Sidorowicz, John (Judy) Cummins and Patricia James. She graduated from Riley High School in 1971.

Pamela met her husband, Frank Eisemann while cheering for Notre Dame football. They hit it off instantly and were married February 28th, 1996. Pam and Frank truly embodied love and treated one another with kindness and respect. Together, they greatly enjoyed going to the casino and antique shopping. Pam and Frank embarked on many adventures including trips to Niagara Falls, and Las Vegas. They also explored the Caribbean on multiple trips to Cancun and Jamaica with her niece Jodi along with her husband Chris, and their children Emily and Andrew White.

Pamela was known as “Aunt Pam” and had a special role as a great aunt to her great nieces and nephews. Pam would host sleepovers, cooking favorite dishes including “Aunt Pammy Noodles”, mac and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs, and beef barley soup. However, Pammy was best known for her amazing baking talents ranging from cheesecakes to lemon meringue pies and triple chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles frosting. Together, Great Aunt Pam, Uncle Frank, and her great nieces and nephews would go bowling, take part in DIY projects, and have movie nights together.

Pam was the queen of hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. She would always keep in mind the favorite dishes of her family members, even down to the cranberry sauce which truly captures the spirit of Pam. She celebrated those around her and loved others clearly. To Pam, it was most important that we treat others with kindness. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Prior to retirement, Pam had a respected career in accounting.  Pam worked as the Director of Accounting for Anthony Travel Inc and was Treasurer at the South Bend Farmers Market for many years.

A visitation for Pamela will be held from 5:00pm - 8:00 Friday, November 1, 2024, at Palmer Funeral Home - Welsheimer Chapel, 17033 Cleveland Rd., South Bend.
