Glenn M. Freeburn

SOUTH BEND — Glenn M. Freeburn, 81, of Portage Road, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Healthwin Hospital and Nursing Home. Mr. Freeburn retired from the former Bendix Corp. as a laboratory technician. He was born Feb. 26, 1914, in Buchanan.

On July 13, 1943, in South Bend, he married Marie A. Grabarek She survives with a son, Tim of Hartford; two grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Morgan of Lydick.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8748.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
