Donald W. Vary

VARY - Word has been received here of the death of Donald W. Vary, 58, of Holmes Beach, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died May 15 in a Bradenton, Fla., hospital. He was a chemical and electronic engineer. He was born on Dec. 13, 1918, in South Bend and lived in Florida 22 years, moving there from Niles.

Surviving are his widow, Gloria Ann; two daughters, Mrs. Judyth Ann Baker of Richmond, Tex., and Mrs. Linda A. Bauer of Bradenton; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Dykeman of Bremen and Mrs. Armaine Hurckes of Mishawaka, and a brother, Galen, of Niles.

Services were Friday in Bradenton, with burial in Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton, Fla. The Griffith-Cline Island Chapel, Holmes Beach, was in charge of arrangements.
