Dorothy A. (Haines) Fry

Dorothy A. Fry, 91, of Lancaster, and formerly of Rancho Bernardo, CA, and Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at LGH. Born April 16, 1917, in South Bend, IN, she was the daughter of the late John and Leota (Redinbo) Haines.

She was first married to the late Kenneth Grosh. She later married the late John Fry.

She is survived by a son, Gary B. Grosh, husband of Ann, of Lancaster; a stepson, Joseph, husband of Virginia, of VA; seven grandchildren, Forrest, Kaitlin, Christine, Jeff, John, Michael and Barbara; and four great grandchildren, Alex, Josh, Jack and Jane.

Dorothy was a very caring and loving wife, mom, grandma and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who lives were blessed to be touched by her.

Memorial Services will be held in the Chapel at St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia, PA 17512 on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Missouri. Friends may visit with the family at St. Anne's on Tuesday between 1 and 2 PM. Please omit flowers.
