Geraldine H. Lawson, 87, of Candlewood Lane, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 10:53 p.m. Friday February 27, 2004, in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind. Geraldine was born on March 10, 1916, in South Bend, to Gustv and Hulda (Bowman) Nordblad who both have preceded her in death.Geraldine was also preceded by a daughter; Candy and a son, William.

On April 3, 1937 in South Bend, Geraldine married Ashley Lawson, Ashley preceded her on March 3, 1986. Geraldine is survived by three sons;Robert Lawson of Mishawaka, Ind., Dick Lawson of Rhode Island and Jack Lawson of Lakeland, Fla., two daughters, Nancy Coppens and JoAnn Hunsberger both of Mishawaka, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Florence Emigh of LaPorte, Ind., and one sister-in-law, Gloria Long of Mishawaka.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
