Robert W. Toelle

NEW CARLISLE - Robert W. Toelle, 72, of 217 W. Ben St., died at 9:40 p.m. Friday, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Marion, Ind. He retired in 1982 as credit manager for Clark Credit Corp. Buchanan.

Born Feb. 6, 1917, in Freeport, Ill, he had lived in this area 27 years.

On Dec. 7, 1946, he married Marietta Rodgers, who survives. Also surviving are daughter, Suzanne Moore of El Sinore, Calif.; a son, Lowell Rex of Manistee, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Marjorie Floyd of Bloomington, Ind.

He was a member of Olive Chapel United Church of Christ, American Legion Post 297, and a Marine veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hamilton Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home
