Beecher L. "Andy" Anderson

March 2, 1920 - Sept. 17, 1994

SOUTH BEND  Beecher L. *Andy" Anderson, 74, of East Bowman Street, died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mr. Anderson retired from Gates Chevrolet as assistant body shop manager after 15 years of service.

He was born March 2, 1920, in Rochester and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 5, 1942, in Bremen, he married Donna Drudge. She survives with two aunts, Jessie Mertins of South Bend and Betty Bissette of Indianapolis.

He was a a member of South Bend Press Club and Presbyterian Players, and was charter member of Metro Fire United 511 of the Salvation Army.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Metro Fire United 511 of the Salvation Army.
