Donald LeRoy Bowerman, 96, widower of Bettie E. Bowerman, died Friday, March 31, 2017. He was born in South Bend, IN on June 5, 1920. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank L. and Ethelene Stemm Bowerman; a brother, James Duane Bowerman, and a sister Phyllis Wertz.

He served in the United States Army Air Corps as a pilot during WWII, and was a Captain in the Retired Reserve at the time of his death. He had been an Elder and a Deacon of the First Christian Church of Georgetown and was currently a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was a Scottish Rite Mason.

Services will be 11am Wednesday at the Lexington Cemetery. No visitation is planned. www.milwardfuneral.com
