Edith Lee (Cook) Kocher

Edith Lee (Cook) (Kocher) (Baumgartner) Vander Reyden was born on October 5, 1919 in Lenoir City, Loudon County, Tennessee, the daughter of Floyd L Cook (1896-1959) and his 1st wife Lennie (Duff) Cook.

She married 1st Virgil Carl Kocher (1911 –1955) and she married 2nd Chris M Baumgartner (1912–1975). She was married 3rd in 1996 to Orville John Vander Reyden (1920–2005).

Edith was a retired Engineering Aid from Bendix Corporation and a member of Cannon United Methodist Church. Living in Shelbyville, Bedford County, she died May 12, 2011 at the age of 91 years at Lynchburg Care Center.

Preceded in death by her husbands, she was survived by a married daughter, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel, and burial under her 1st married surnam was on May 16th in Saint Joseph Valley Cemetery in South Bend, Indiana.
