Lawrence W. Copenhayer, 60, of 1348 Lincoln Way E., was killed in a car accident Saturday night on Ind. 23. He was born on Oct. 30, 1920, in South Bend and lived here all his life.
He was a route driver for Fox Photo.
On Aug. 17, 1946, in South Bend, he married Kathryn Williams. She survives with a daughter, Soo An Copenhaver of Mishawaka; a son, Lee J. of New York City; and a brother, Norman C. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Warner Funeral Home, Osceola, which is making arrangements.
He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a World War II veteran
