CORLEY, MARGARET (PEGGY) JANE FINK, age 84, of Birmingham, died December 23, 2004. She was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1920. She attended St. Mary's College (Notre Dame), was a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and received a Master's Degree of Education from the University of Alabama. She taught school at Minor Elementary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Corley, her sisters in-law, Dorothy Corley and Elizabeth Corley, and brothers-in-law, J. L. (Agnes) and Lawson (Florence).
She is survived by her brother, Earnest (Mary) Fink; brothers-in-law, Clifton (Becky) Corley and Marion (Evelyn) Corley; nieces, Evelyn (Jimmy) Hempstead, Leanne (Dennis) Kaja, Denise (Keith) Terry and Angela (Tom) Webster, and by nephews, Lawrence (Lillian) Corley, Hugh Corley, David (Jana) Corley, Bruce (Sally) Cooper, Lee Allen (Mary Dayle) Corley, and Bryan (Christine) Corley, and a host of great nieces and nephews. Peggy's special friends included Liesel (Ted) McDowell, Kathy Sechriest and Alberta Westry.
She had been a member of First Baptist Church, Fairfield, Brookwood Baptist Church and was a member of Central Park United Methodist Church, which she dearly loved.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. at Central Park United Methodist Church, followed by funeral services conducted by Rev. Malcolm Larkin. Memorials may be made to Central Park United Methodist Church. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel, directing.
