Arthur E. Bouchard

Arthur E. Bouchard, 68, of 4435 Irish Hills, died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bouchard retired in 1980 from Bendix Corp, after 40 years of service. He was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Akron, Ohio, and lived in South Bend for 66 years, coming from Ohio.

On June 28, 1952, he married Barbara Jean Sizelove, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Darlene Fetters of Columbia City, Ind., Barbara Marler of Allen, Texas, and Janele Coyle of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucille Stevens of Allen Park, Mich., and Bonnie Ricks of Delta Junetion, Alaska.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive.

He was a member of the church and member and former recording secretary of Bendix Local 9 of the United Auto Workers union.
