Stanley L. Fields

Stanley L. Fields, 76, of Summerfield, Fla., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died July 14, in Ocala, Fla. He was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Rochester, Ind., and lived in South Bend, Ind., most of his life and moved to Florida in 1977. He retired from Bendix Corp. in 1975. He was married on July 4, 1943, in South Bend, Ind., to the former Audrey Lorraine Lee, who preceded him in death in 1986.

He is survived by one daughter, Sherrie Fields of Gainesville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

A son, David G. Fields, preceded him in death in 1995.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 Ironwood Drive, South Bend, Ind. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. He was a member of the Bendix Corp. Union and the Disabled American Veterans
