Evelyn Bertha (Reyniers) Paszli

SOUTH BEND - Services for Evelyn B. Paszli, 76, of St. Joseph's Care Center West, who died at 1 a.m. Friday in the nursing home, will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Cremation will follow. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Paszli had worked for the former Wilson Bros., South Bend Community School Corp. and J.C. Penney. She was born Aug. 8, 1919, in Mishawaka.

On Aug. 24, 1940, in South Bend, she married Joseph T. Paszli. He died Aug. 26, 1995. 

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Nowicki of South Bend; a son, Larry of South Bend; four grandchildren; four -grandchildren; and five sisters, Faye Majors of Elhkart, Ruth VanHeesbeke of New Carlisle, Jeannette Rhodes of Osceola, Ann Papp of South Bend, and Alice Mann of Garden Grove, Calif.

A great grandchild preceded her in death.

She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, St. Theresa Society and South Bend Civic and Democratic Club.
