Julius A. Toth

Julius A. Toth, 54, of Torrance, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died at 1 a.m. Sunday in the South Bay Hospital, Redondo Beach, Calif., after suffering a heart attack in his home for days before. Mr. Toth was a former export engineer for the Studebaker Corp. and was an engineer at Garrett Airresearch Co., Torrance.
Born Feb. 3, 1920 in South Bend, he had lived here until moving to California in 1958.
Surviving are his father, Julius Toth of South Bend; a brother, Leslie E., secretary/treasurer of the Zahoran Funeral Home, and a niece, Mrs. Charles Fujawa of South Bend.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. today in the funeral home by members the Legion of Mary of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.
A graduate of Purdue mechanical engineering, Mr. Toth was a World War II naval veteran and a member of the Purdue Alumni Club of California
